Sue was born and raised in Mobile before she moved to Baldwin County for 28 years. She attended school in Mobile and graduated her junior year of high school to start college early; however, her plans evolved instead to entering the banking profession for what would have been her senior year. It was a great fit as she remained in that field until after her son was born.
After moving to Orange Beach, she earned her real estate license and sold condominiums in that area, mainly in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. She also managed several Homeowner Associations there while utilizing her license.
Before moving back to Mobile in 2000, she worked in sales as a manager for a major retail store, Kasper ASL. She then moved to a locally owned human resources company Coastal HR Group where she specialized in customer service. Her most recent career position was Development Coordinator & Volunteer Outreach for Habitat for Humanity for the past eight years. That position enabled Sue to fully embrace the many opportunities to serve Mobile through Habitat’s Cars for Homes program, building the donor base to include financial institutions, local attorneys, speaking at churches, civic clubs, and fundraising in the Mobile County business community.
She has renewed many of her long-time business relationships in Mobile. She has commented that each of her past career fields have provided many transferable skills to better serve her future buyer and sellers as they make their moves in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. Sue has an exceptionally strong market knowledge of our areas and through her negotiating skills, can boast a “list to sale” ratio of 98.44%.
She likes to shop for one-of-a-kind antiques, decorate with unusual finds and has an “eye” for making interiors come alive. Her areas of interest are cooking and entertaining, creating outdoor living areas, and gardening in small spaces. She enjoys Midtown condo living and even presently serves on the association’s Board of Directors. Sue is a member of Dauphin Way United Methodist Church, Mobile Botanical Gardens and The History Museum of Mobile.
