Sue Wenger

Sue started her career after receiving her BME Degree from Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri. As a music educator Sue taught elementary music and high school vocal music. After a very successful teaching career Sue decided to further her education and traveled to Oklahoma State University and received a Master of Secondary Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a cognate field in Music Education. In 1978 Sue and her husband Mike moved to Kansas.

After moving to Mulvane Sue continued her professional involvement in the performing arts and became the National Editor of Phi Beta Music Fraternity, Director of a local church choir, substitute organist and accompanist, and taught music classes for the local Mother's Day Out program for 13 years! It was during those years that Sue decided to try her hand at selling real estate. After a short time knew she had found her home!

Among Sue’s professional accomplishments are numerous awards for excellence in real estate as well as serving on many local, state, and national committees. She has her GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), CRB (Certified Residential Broker), and ePro designations. She has served as President of the Wichita Area Association of Realtors and is a Director for the Kansas Association of Realtors. Sue believes in education and professionalism at all levels and was recently appointed to and is presently serving on the Kansas Real Estate Commission.

Sue has always loved working with people and has succeeded in helping hundreds of home buyers and sellers since receiving her license in 1979.

One of the biggest challenges in a real estate career is balancing a business life and a family life. Sue has met that challenge by raising 3 beautiful daughters.

Sue's husband Mike who has worked with Sue in the real estate world as a custom home builder for the past 35 years. Together they have seen the real estate cycles, held their breath as interest rates rose and fell, and endured chicken pox, first and last days of school, graduations, and now are enjoying 5 granddaughters!
