I have been in real estate since 1996. Prior to that I spent 26 years in the apparel industry. When I transitioned into the field of real estate it was with my husband, Don, who had also been in the apparel industry. Don and I have enjoyed 39 years of marriage and we are still having fun together! Real Estate seemed the perfect transition for us as a business opportunity as it is driven by relationships. Obviously we were right because we are still enjoying the journey today! I have been with Keller Williams from day one and moved into a leadership position in the Midtown location in 1998. I have held that position since then growing this office to over 200 agents and opening two business centers, who together have over 60 agents. Those locations are in Sand Springs and Southwest Tulsa metro area. Besides my life in real estate, I am the mother of an only daughter, Bridget. Bridget and the love of her life, Larry, have blessed us with two fabulous grandsons, Rhett and Wyatt. We are fortunate that they live here so Don and I have plenty of entertainment most weekends! I get to live vicariously through Bridget in that I only had a girl and I only had an "only" so best of both worlds for me, now I get boys and two of them!!! I have so many interests but probably my number one is health and fitness. I spend as much time as I can being a student of healthy eating and exercise programs to lead a strong and balanced life. Our industry is a stressful one so there is no time to be sickly! Add my precious family on top of that what better focus can there be but being healthy and happy? I am a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. My faith is the driving force behind my life and Asbury has been a wonderful church fit for me. Another interest of mine, is of course, our city of Tulsa! I am a graduate of Leadership Tulsa and participated in this Leadership program in 2005. I continue to stay involved in this organization as an alumni through their annual activities. They are an important link to the non-profit community here in Tulsa. I have chaired the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors Public Relations Committee for the last 2 years and headed up their Backpack for Kids Campaign, raising over 30,000.00 to provide 500+ filled backpacks for needy children. It has served as one of the most rewarding involvments I have experienced in my lifetime. I have been privileged to be a part of this industry and this phenomenal company for all these years and look forward with excited anticipation to what the future holds!
