Susan helped us sell our house last year and worked to help us with our next home purchase. Having sold my own homes several times before and having had some disappointing experiences with lazy realtors in the past I was reluctant to go with a pro but at the urging of my wife we met with Susan for a market analysis. After meeting her and watching her attention to detail and professionalism I decided to to see what she could do with our home. I was very pleased with the results. She did a stellar job marketing our home and she really worked it to get us a sale at a price we could feel good about. She did a splendid job in helping us negotiate the next home and followed through with helping to set up the closing. I enjoyed not having to do it all myself as it left me free to focus on the majors like identifying where we wanted to live next. I was able to devote my energies and focus on taking care of all the physical and logistical details involved in moving a family of five out of a home we had occupied for almost 10 years. Once we identified our target area Susan was available and totally on call to show us any homes that met our criteria. We were actually her very first clients and all I can say is that if she was capable of doing that level of service on her first time out she has only gotten better with the experience she has accumulated since then. We placed our home on the market with Susan as the listing agent. Our circumstances were such that we were selling our home to move to Costa Rica for retirement. Susan came to our home, took all the necessary information for the listing and placed the sign in our lawn. Before the listing could even be released on the MLS, actually within 24 hours, Susan had a cash buyer. We had a written contract within 72 hours. Not only did we get a full cash settlement, but Susan negotiated with the buyer to allow us to live in the house on a lease basis until our departure time for Costa Rica. The sign only remained in the lawn for one day. This was such a wonderful, easy, and fruitful experience. Susan truly is a professional of the highest rank. Many people say they have a great realtor. My realtor, Susan Dewbrew, is not just great, she is PHENOMENAL! As a first time home buyer who is also a public school math teacher (extremely busy), I needed somebody who could do the searching, weed out what I didn't want, and be willing to listen and work with what I wanted -- the must haves, the won't accepts, and the preferences. Having already worked with 3 previous agents over the previous 8 months that resulted in many unending circles and trying to push me into something I had clearly stated I didn't want, Susan took on the challenge to help me find my home, You will never need to go to another realtor. I'm the last one and we will find your home. The home was found within 3 weeks from the first time we sat down and talked face to face. Five weeks later I was living in it. Not only did Susan help me find my home, she answered a ton of questions, was quite flexible with my tight schedule, walked in integrity throughout the whole process, and never negated any of my picky requirements.
