Real estate, especially in today's market, is not for the fainthearted. You need an agent who knows -- really knows -- the market trends, the neighborhoods you are targeting, the approaches and attitudes of buyers' agents and their clients. And they need to do more than service the seller's contract with you -- they need to really understand what you want, what you need, and how to truly care for YOU during every step of the project -- and it is a project -- to sell your home.

If you are looking to sell in the Reading/Wakefield Massachusetts area, run -- do not walk -- and call Susan Gormady of Classified Realty Group. When I was considering selling my home and made my first appointment with her, what impressed me right away was how much time she took to ask me what I wanted to do, how my concerns were accurate (or not) based on the current market situation, and her strategies to make the real estate process work best for me.

Susan nailed everything the first time. She knew how much work I would need to complete on my house to present it in the best possible way and steered me away from things I thought were needed but really were not necessary. She made sure I took under consideration all the factors in evaluating offers -- and they're not just price -- to decide which offer worked best for me. When it came time to closing, although I had a closing attorney do the work, I could still ping Susan with all my closing 101 questions and she never failed to reply.

What is even more impressive than her skill and knowledge is her personal warmth and kindness. I was experiencing an unexpected family issue right in the middle of the sale of my home and Susan could not have been more sensitive and caring while I juggled these two major events.

I followed Susan's suggestions to sell my home to the letter. I was rewarded by a phenomenal sale experience -- everything I could have asked for, not only in the sale price but in the additional considerations, the closing, absolutely everything.

Five stars as a realtor. Many many more stars as a warm and wonderful person. Don't choose anyone else.

I highly recommend Susan, she is an extremely dedicated and knowledgeable realtor. My wife and I were first time home buyers in one of the most competitive real estate markets we’ve seen. Susan helped us through every step in the process and I highly recommend working with her team as they were all extremely responsive and helpful. Fortunately our house hunt didn’t drag out as long as we had anticipated and I credit much of that to Susans guidance and knowledge of the area. Susan was always available when we had questions or needed something to come together quickly, even when on vacation. Susan is the absolute GOAT. We have worked with her four times in the past 10 years - twice to buy and twice to sell - and she has been a dream to work with each time. The COVID market has been the wild, wild west, but Susan made navigating it less intimidating. But more important than her expert advice, top-notch negotiation skills, and stylish staging skills, Susan is a good person. We did it.. We tried to buy a house in the craziest of markets, right in the middle of COVID. We knew it was going to be hard and we put ourselves in a really desperate situation, but we had no idea just how tumultuous and soul-draining our journey would be. BUT, through all of that, we had one solid, constant, beam of light.. and that was Susan. She was able to keep our ship upright through the ferocious weather of the COVID market and to navigate us to the home of our dreams.

Besides keeping us mentally intact, we also relied heavily on Susan for her expertise of the areas we were looking in. She knows every nook and cranny of the towns surrounding the Reading area. She was able to listen to WHO we were and was able to translate that into WHAT we would value in a home. She was honest and realistic, which we wanted and needed. She never missed a phone call or an email - was even conducting business while on vacation (which no one should ever expect of anyone!). She listened to our crazy ideas (can sellers offer Bruins season tickets in their offer?). She heard me cry. She saw my daughter throw up on herself. She went to BATTLE when we finally got ourselves in a bidding war we could win.

It was a journey. We are forever thankful for Susan's expertise and would strongly recommend her to anyone who needs a true professional, a local expert, and a solid leader.

I worked with Susan and her teammate Jamie to purchase my first home.

Working with Jamie was one of the best decisions my partner and I have ever made! She represented us as buyers. Her professionalism, positivity, and responsiveness are just a few of the attributes that make her shine! During our first meeting, I knew immediately we were going to be set up for success.

Jamie called attention to the good and the bad during showings and open houses and explained what we should take under advisement. She helped us package competitive offers that would stand out during a RED HOT market while also ensuring our needs/goals as buyers were met.

Jamie helped us land our dream home, in less than 2 weeks of meeting, in a multiple offer scenario.

First hand experience, we contacted her off hours as a home seller. She immediately responded with enthusiasm, scheduled our consultation, and came fully prepared ahead of time. First meeting her, she was very warm, she immediately had a vision, and had shown deep interest about our home. If you are considering Susan as your realtor, here is my advice: hire her! Susan is the utmost professional. My spouse and I were nothing but impressed by her hard-work, dedication, and skill. Susan is not only knowledgeable about the real estate market, but she knows what to expect and how to “roll with the punches”. We listed our house right as the Covid-19 quarantine guidelines were issued, but that did not stop Susan. Instead of open houses, she scheduled private showings and we had multiple offers within days of listing our house! Susan is, without a doubt, the best part about buying a house! We worked with Susan over a three-year period. During that time, we sold our condo, bought a house, had three babies, outgrew our house, sold that house, and bought a new house.
