I cannot begin to thank Susan Grimm enough for helping me to purchase my new home in May of 2022! She did an amazing job working with me to figure out what type of home would best suit me at this stage of life and keeping me on track with my true desired outcome of purchasing the right home for me and my 2 sons. We were very fortunate to have Susan as our real estate agent when buying our first home. As first-time buyers, we were fairly intimidated with the home buying process, but Susan helped us through every step along the way. She was very knowledgeable and consistently communicated details and tips on how to go through each step. She would immediately reach out to us whenever there was an update or response from the seller’s agent, and she provided us with excellent advice as we made many important decisions about our new home. We really appreciated her flexibility around our busy work schedules. We had limited windows of time when we were available to meet, but she always found a way to work around our schedules, even if that meant meeting or talking in the evening or night. She was also always available to answer questions at any time of the day. We would definitely recommend Susan as a real estate agent, especially for first-time homebuyers. Susan provided us with all the guidance we needed and helped us complete our inspections and major negotiations a couple of weeks before the closing, so we felt at ease on closing day. Susan helped to find the right house for me. She handled all the paper work, appointments and setting up all the inspections. The previous owners left the home a real mess, Susan helped clean out the kitchen and all the the food left behind. She even took it upon herself to find out additional information from the township about bulk trash pick up for me!! She made the whole process quick and painless. My wife and I were first time homebuyers looking in a competitive housing market...we were nervous. Susan instantly gave us confidence to pursue the second house we viewed. Susan took the time to schedule a tour of the home without the listing agent to strategize about putting an offer in. We put the offer in and found out we were in a multiple offer situation, one of them being a cash offer (we had a conventional mortgage). My wife and I felt we had little chance to beat a cash offer. But Susan did not let us give up and gave us great advice that was instrumental in winning the home in this multiple offer situation. There is no doubt that without Susan's advisement, we would not have bought the house of our dreams. She was always available and was there for us every step of the way, even checking in on how we were feeling after we went through the mortgage phase. I couldn't think of a better guide and cheer leader through our first time buying a home. We couldn't have been more pleased with Susan's guidance and friendship through this whole process. Truly a great professional whose years of experience really paid off when we were facing long odds of winning a multiple offer situation. I was very fortunate to have had Susan as my agent throughout the process of purchasing my first home. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process. Early on she took the time to sit down and discuss what to expect throughout the process. We discussed my budget and preferences and made sure everyone was on the same page right from the start. As we began looking at homes her extensive experience proved to be a great asset as she pointed out many details that I would have not noticed, both good and bad. She never once rushed me and it was clear from the start that we would take as long as we needed to find my dream home. There is no question that Susan’s overall goal was for me to have a positive experience and find my dream home, not to make a quick sale. When I did find that home her experience paid off again as she helped me craft an offer less than what I was willing to pay, indicating that she thought we may be able to get a better price. The offer was accepted and all parties were happy. She continued to be available for anything I needed through closing and was by my side helping me to navigate the home inspection and all other steps that needed to be completed prior to close. Where to begin? Susan is amazing! I bought my first home with her help and guidance. Professional, Personable and Knowledgeable. Made my first time buying experience super easy! Fast forward to a couple years later to list my home and I of course reached out to her. She goes above and beyond for her clients and helps them each step of the way. Communicates quickly and gets things done. Once my home was under contract I moved out of state and she made sure everything ran smoothly. She literally took care of everything.
