About Susan
Susan’s local roots run deep. Although she was born in Tokyo, Japan, where her family lived for a time, they returned to Bronxville when she was three years old, and she was raised in the Village of Bronxville. Susan attended the Bronxville Schools from Kindergarten through 12th Grade graduation and returned there in 2003 to raise her own family.
Susan joined Julia B. Fee Sotheby's International Realty in 2011, following a fourteen-year legal career as a commercial litigator and attorney for the New York State court system. Susan is a second-generation real estate professional, having learned much about the business from my mother, a thirty-year veteran of the lower-Westchester real estate sales market. After graduating from Yale University with a B.A. in Psychology in 1991, she earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 1997. As a successful attorney practicing in both the private and public sectors, Susan has represented and advised individuals and institutions in a wide variety of legal matters, which required her to provide exceptional client service. Responsiveness to client inquiries, diligence, and, most importantly, loyalty, honesty, and unfailing dedication to the client's needs and interests, are just some of the skills and qualities Susan developed in her legal career - and which she now brings to her real estate career.
Susan lived in Bronxville Village with her husband, Tom Moore, and has two college-aged children, Jack, and Lily, who, like Susan, are proud members of the Bronxville Schools' "Thirteen Year Club." Prior to returning home to Westchester, Susan and her husband indulged their love-affair with real estate by embarking on a gut renovation/restoration of a historic 1847 townhouse in Brooklyn Heights, followed by an extensive remodeling of a beach house in Block Island, Rhode Island. As a result, Susan is familiar with the passion and excitement that accompany property ownership. She always enjoys meeting new people and looks forward to marketing and selling your distinctive property, or helping you find your dream home in Westchester.
