About Susan
Susan Heaton is a seasoned real estate professional with a dynamic background in business, law, and operations. A graduate of Lakewood High School and the California College of Commerce, Susan began her career in the legal field, working first with a criminal law firm and later with a divorce attorney—experiences that sharpened her organizational and client service skills.
While raising three children, Susan managed the business side of her family’s plumbing company and remained actively involved in school, sports, and community fundraisers. She later transitioned into restaurant management, overseeing a team of 30 employees and serving over 5,000 customers weekly. Though successful, the demanding schedule led her to pursue her long-standing passion for real estate.
Susan earned her real estate license and quickly listed her first home. Within a year, she co-founded a real estate company and eventually earned her broker’s license. Her entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on approach to property investment—including rehabbing, renting, and reselling homes—have given her a deep understanding of the market and a keen eye for potential in every property.
After relocating to Cleveland in 2001, Susan settled in Westlake and Avon Lake, continuing her investment work while re-licensing in Ohio. Her love for home transformation and design, shared with her husband, has fueled countless successful projects.
Today, Susan is a proud member of the Keller Williams EZ Sales Team, Ohio’s #1 Keller Williams team and one of the top five teams statewide. She is committed to delivering smooth, enjoyable transactions for buyers—whether it’s a first home, a second property, or an investment. Her guiding principle is simple: “Do the right thing.”
Outside of work, Susan enjoys time with her two adopted Ragdoll cats, scenic drives, lakeside camping with friends, and cheering on her favorite football teams.
