About Susan

Susan McNerney began her real estate career in 1983 in New York City after graduating from Connecticut College with a degree in Zoology/Biology. After nine years in the industry in Manhattan, she stepped back and raised her three kids in the East Cobb area of Marietta, GA. Susan saw them all the way from elementary school through Walton High School and on to UGA!

Once her youngest was preparing to leave the nest four years ago, Susan joined BHHS and have never looked back. The culture of integrity and professionalism at Berkshire Hathaway is a perfect fit for Susan. Not only are they ranked the #1 Company on Real Trends 500 for 2019, but every relationship here is forged in trust and integrity.

Susan is also passionate about animals and can often be found walking her dog on the trails of the Chattahoochee near home. Susan is also an advocate for animal rescue and placement, and is always trying to lend a hand to help lost pets find their way home.

Susan has been an ambassador for the Sunshine Kids Organization with her company since the beginning! A percentage of her commission goes to this amazing organization with every one of her closings to help provide some joy for children with cancer.

Having lived in Metro Atlanta for 20+ years, Susan knows the area very well. When added to my “go get it” attitude, her work ethic, and her caring nature, the result is a journey with clients - both sellers and buyers, that is solid and smooth.
