Having closed on two homes I had the responsibility for selling within one year, I just wanted to thank you for all the work you did in getting both homes sold quickly and at a fair price. When I had to sell my deceased Uncle's home, I did not know any realtors on LI so I got presentations from three realtors. I chose you because you were direct and thoroughly answered all my questions. Since I was trying to manage the process from out of state, I appreciated your willingness to pitch in with a lot of extra effort and manage tasks that I could not, in order to close the deal. You went beyond the extra mile. When it was time to sell my mother-in-law's house I called you immediately. Once again you met with us and patiently and thoroughly answered all of my mother-in-law's questions. Your calm and confident demeanor put her at ease and quickly minimized any apprehension she may have had with this major transition in her life. You were also very responsive to any awkwardness she may have felt having people she did not know going through her home. Once again, with your skill we had a deal with a perfect buyer within 10 days. You are very good at what you do. You have a keen sense for buyers and have a quiet confidence that is reassuring to all involved. Best of all, you are just a damn nice person. When my husband and I decided to sell our home of 25 years, even though we were eager to start our lives in another state, it was a difficult and emotional decision. We couldn't have picked a better real estate agent than Susan Monaco. From our initial meeting Susan took us through all the steps involved in selling a house. She walked through the house with me and made sure I noticed every detail of every room so that I knew all the pros and cons before making a decision. When you need to sell your home, finding the right realtor is daunting. You want someone you can trust, someone who can advise on the right price, someone who is in your corner and someone who will be there when you need them. Susan is all of these things and much more. We had to move before we could put our house up for sale, so we were on a plane and the next day the sign went up. Susan managed every aspect in our absence, leaf clean up, snow removal, even the final clean out of unwanted items. We received regular detailed updates and no one viewed our house without Susan present. It didn't matter if another agent came, there was no lock box, Susan had the only key. In this day and age it is incredible to find someone who you can put your whole trust in. When deciding to start looking at houses, we had no idea what to expect. We had never bought a house before, and the process was intimidating. Not knowing where to begin, we searched for houses online. After seeing a few we liked, we contacted Susan Monaco to help. Help she did. Not only did Susan respond to us immediately, she answered all of our initial questions. What we loved most was that she did not pressure us in any way. After a few days of looking at listings, we set out to see a few houses. From day one, Susan was informative and reliable. She did her homework on the properties that met our needs, and she really knew which houses were best to see and which would not be for us. Whenever she took us to a house that she didn’t think we would like, we walked out wishing we had listened to her. We were, however, thankful that she took us to each listing we wanted to see. Susan was also always available to help. We haven’t heard about many realtors who will respond on weekends and holidays. We soon learned that Susan was extremely honest. When we found a house that we really liked and decided to make an offer, Susan ran comps and went over each one with us. We had no idea where to start with offers, and she really helped to guide us. Without Susan, we probably would have paid way too much for a house or never had a chance on another house because we were staring too low. Susan had our best interest at heart at all times.
