Hilton Head Native with Global Business Experience
Susan Ochsner is a Hilton Head Island native whose life and career combine deep Lowcountry roots with international business experience.

She attended Sea Pines Academy and H.E. McCracken High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and International Marketing from the University of South Carolina in 1982. She later returned to earn her MBA from USC in 1998.

Susan began her career in finance and corporate business, working with Bankers Mortgage and the Burroughs Corporation Forms Division. Her career soon expanded internationally when she moved to Zurich, Switzerland, where she gained extensive experience in global business and banking. While in Zurich she worked with VARIG Airlines, followed by leadership roles in international finance as Assistant Vice President with Swiss Bank Corporation and Bank Julius Baer.

Living and working abroad gave Susan a global perspective on business, finance, and the lifestyle decisions that drive relocation. Today she brings that experience home to Hilton Head Island, combining her deep local knowledge with an international business background to guide buyers and sellers with insight, strategy, and professionalism.

As someone who grew up on Hilton Head and later built a career around the world, Susan understands both the unique lifestyle of the Lowcountry and what attracts people from across the country and around the globe to call it home.
