About Susan

A native of North East Jefferson County, I have been licensed since March 1995. In addition to my successful career in Greater Birmingham, I have expereience owning and brokering a real estate company that serviced the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast. I am a former licensed real estate instructor for the Alabama Real Estate Commission. I know real estate and how to represent buyers and sellers under the law. Ethics, integrity, and results are my priority, and I take my responsibility to clients seriously.

Over the years, I have helped numerous families and individuals realize the American Dream of home ownership, and I’ve enjoyed a good reputation as being a go-to person for real estate. I have hosted numerous successful Home Buyer seminars in an effort to provide current information, along with personal service, to ease the buying process, I've been recognized by the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders for excellence in new home sales by being included in their Million Dollar Sales club. I have a passion for new construction and enjoy the building process, especially custom building.

In 1998, I obtained additional education and training and was awarded the GRI designation (Graduate, Realtor institute). According to Realtor.com, only a small number of agents in Trussville have received this designation of excellence. A GRI is a nationally recognized REALTOR® who has gained in-depth knowledge on technical subjects as well as the fundamentals of real estate, has developed a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to navigate the current real estate climate—no matter what its condition, acts with professionalism and is committed to serving their clients and customers with the highest ethical standards.

While being a multi-million dollar producer has it’s obvious rewards, the greatest reward I receive is the repeat business and referrals I receive from clients and customers. There’s so much to be said for having personal relationships in spite of the technical world we’re living in.
