Suzy Knight Pittman was born and raised in Houston, Texas. However, both of Suzy's biological parents and grandparents were born in Cuba so she was immersed in the Cuban culture, and she can read, write, and fluently speak Spanish.

She first started working with Texas Children's along with Kris Brown's Kick Club and fell in love with volunteering at the hospital with the other Houston Texans' Wives. Recently, her family adopted the sweetest rescue dog, named Beba from the Houston Homeless Pet Project.
