Sylvia Mattingly

Sylvia graduated from UNCW with a degree in criminal justice and moved to Hatteras Island in 1992. She raised her family here; her daughter is a schoolteacher on the island and her son is a mate on the Albatross Fleet. As an animal lover, Sylvia will argue that Finn is not just the cutest, but the smartest four-legged companion. Hobbies include collecting sea glass and doing yoga. In her free time, you may find her out on the water, boating and fishing.
