Tamara and team went above and beyond in the selling and home buying process. As first time home sellers, we went into the process with a lot of questions and nerves. But Tamara made sure we were fully informed throughout the process and was always available to answer our questions. We were equally nervous to enter the home buying market during this competitive time. But Tamara’s depth of knowledge helped us fully understand what we were getting into and how to best leverage our offers for success. In the end, Tamara helped us sell our condo and buy our dream house in less than 3 months—so we could not be more thankful for her expertise!

I had a wonderful experience as a first time homebuyer, with Tamara Declama as my realtor. Before even getting started, she took the time to educate me on the home buying process, and helped me to become familiar with the documents that I would encounter during the process. When it was time to start looking at homes, she was readily available during the times that I was free. Tamara and her team (shout out to Leandra) were always available to answer any questions that I had. They even provided me with an outline of the process, which included timeframes in which certain steps should be completed. My home was a new construction, and she consistently checked in with the sellers/builders and provided me with updates without me even having to ask. When things came down to the wire and I was given the ok by the sellers to settle, Tamara and her team helped to coordinate closing for the next day. I was so appreciative because it prevented me from having to spend additional money to keep my interest rate locked in. Tamara is an expert in her profession, honest, professional, and a joy to work with. Thanks Tamara and Leandra.

What can I say about Tamara ?! Well I can first say she loves her job. She is passionate about helping people through the biggest purchase of their lives. This was my first home, Tam was knowledgeable, efficient, effective, professional yet kept it real and honest through this process. What makes her different is she meets with you to go over the closing papers before house hunting…I mean that’s manifestation energy right there she lets you know We’re going close so get ready!

Tamara spent the time necessary to help me find the perfect location for my weekend home. She understood my likes, dislikes and must haves which enabled her to find and show specific properties that were worthwhile.

She offered strategic advice for every aspect of the offer process from amount to timing of various aspects of the process. In the extremely competitive market, getting the best offer possible in front of the seller is huge.

I enjoyed working with Tamara so much that I signed a contract with her to sell my parents house! She was just as conscientious as a seller’s agent - supporting the decluttering, updates and repairs necessary to market the house.

I cannot say enough about Tamra‘s professionalism. Her and her team are incredible to work with. They are professional, responsive and knowledgeable. I would not have been able to sell my place without their help. I was unsuccessful selling my property with a previous realtor, and she was able to sell my unit in less than a month. I met Tamara when I participated in one of her first-time home-buyer webinars, which I highly recommend for all first-time home-buyers. It was clear she is knowledgeable about the DC housing market and can simply explain the home-buying process as well as the different options available to first-time home-buyers. Once we started working together, Tamara was so responsive and flexible in scheduling tours, she paid attention to my desires for a home and felt like a true partner in the search for the right place. I highly recommend her for first-time home-buyers like myself who may need some education and patience along the way and for others who wants someone who is positive, responsive, and knows the area. Tamara was the most essential person throughout the entire process of my condo purchase. Not only did she provide me with excellent understanding of the process, but she went above and beyond to fill in the gaps caused by the seller agent and delays that occurred repetitively throughout the process. She was assertive at getting things done and never wasted time. She is very knowledgable and capable of securing your desired property and getting a good deal as well. At times when I was not very confident based on other factors, I was always glad to be working with Tamara who assured me we'd get through it. When we wanted to proceed and explore potentially buying a home, we reached out to her and she has always been professional, very responsive, and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend Tamara for all of your real-estate needs. She was knowledgeable and thorough when I was passively looking at properties and when I got more serious about a specific property months later. She was patient and respectful of my interests, questions, and pace - even as they changed to be slower or more aggressive. And always with a smile! She was straight forward, letting me know when to act and when to take my time to best leverage my options and understand strategy for making an offer. Those small details matter when dealing with PEOPLE - especially as a first-time home buyer. She helped me understand the process, helped deal with the other agents and my lender.
