Native New Yorker, Dr. Tameka Bryant has dedicated her life to helping others. As a child, Tameka learned early on that education and hard work was what changed lives. She attended DeWitt Clinton High School in the Bronx, followed by studying Psychology at St. John’s University. While working to pay for school, Tameka worked alongside seasoned professionals and figured that everything needed to be run like a business. She quickly enrolled in accelerated business courses and eventually received her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Business.
Dr. Bryant’s first career began in not-for-profit management, and she quickly climbed the corporate ladder. After working within the corporate environment, Tameka decided to use her acquired skills, knowledge and passion for helping others to start her real estate development and sales company, The Real Estate House.
Dr. Bryant works diligently to promote home ownership daily. Growing up in the Bronx, Tameka’s parents didn’t own their home and were lifetime renters. She made a promise to herself that she would one day own her home and provide her children with the opportunities not afforded to her. She did more than that. She made it her life’s work to help others understand the importance of owning their home and building wealth. In 2011 she was awarded the Realtor of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for the Kansas City bi-state area.
Dr. Bryant has been featured in several national publications and has published books on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Kindle. She is an educator and has a real passion for educating young adults. Since her first day, as an adjunct professor in New York, she has never given up her passion to teach others and make a real difference.
