About Tanner

Growing up on a tree farm in Northwest Montana in the Flathead Valley, Tanner learned the importance of work ethic and appreciating the land we live on. Unlike other states, in his opinion, Montana is one of the most diverse states in the lower 48. With a tremendous amount of recreational opportunities, from world-class hunting to the best stream and mountain lake fishing, upland bird, and waterfowl and do not forget about all of their winter sports – all of which he has done from a young age. After high school, he attended Montana State University to study Mechanical Engineering, while on an athletic scholarship. College was a fantastic experience and time well spent building many relationships, which led him to a career in the oil and gas industry for 13 years traveling all over the Western United States.

As some Montanans know, once you leave – the mountains will always call you back. After Tanner’s time in the oil and gas industry, his family and Tanner heard that calling. They relocated back to Missoula, Montana where hunting, fishing, and exploring is once again at their fingertips. The future is full of opportunity, and he hopes to help others, like his family - hear the mountains calling.
