Tanya Clayton

Born in California, Tanya's family moved to Lawrence County in 1976. “I am so thankful my mother made the decision to move her family to a small, tight-knit community. Lawrence County is a wonderful place to grow up and raise a family.” Growing up on a large farm, and later moving to the city, Tanya is very familiar with both rural and suburban properties in the area. “I love watching our town grow, but at the same time, I want to preserve the small town feel.”

With a background that includes sales, the legal field, and customer service as a county employee for 12 years, Tanya has been an active member of her community for over 35 years now, and is excited to be turning that community focus to real estate. While she and her partner James Hickman, a local successful contractor, are involved in all things houses and home, Tanya is passionate about finding the perfect match between buyer and home. “It means so much to me that my clients are trusting me with their future. My focus is to make the transaction as easy and enjoyable as possible."

When Tanya is not helping her buyers and sellers she also enjoys fitness, gardening, and local kayaking with her children Damon, Gage, and McKenzie. She and James also enjoy spoiling their four grandchildren.
