Prior to that, she was in retail marketing and management for Timex Watch Company. The business acumen she developed in these two roles has enabled her to successfully represent buyers and sellers during seismic shifts in the real estate market over the past fifteen years. After Tanya Thackeray Wilson’s family, community and design are her greatest loves (well, and binge-watching TV dramas). In 2005, she followed her passion for architecture and design and joined Windermere Real Estate and 360 Modern, a consortium of brokers who specialize in modern homes. Tanya Thackeray Wilson spent her early days as a new agent scouring the neighborhoods for hidden midcentury modern gems. Soon enough, Tanya Thackeray Wilson developed a comprehensive knowledge of the different fun pockets of Seattle, not to mention a mental map of the best eateries. She parted ways with 360 Modern in 2017, but her experience with them taught her so much about the rich history of design in the Pacific Northwest. Over the years Tanya Thackeray Wilson has been incredibly fortunate to be invited into some of the most architecturally special homes in Seattle. This experience informs everything that she does and helps her lock into what is special about ANY home that she lists.
