Having always worked in sales, Tao knows how to identify her clients' goals and desires as well as how to fulfill them. She first sold health products and became a top producer, then went into the mortgage financing business, which allowed her to better understand the real estate market as well as the financial options available. In 2008, Tao joined a real estate brokerage company in Bayside. Specializing in residential sales and rentals, she ultimately decided it was time for her to join Douglas Elliman to operate at a more superior level.
Originally from China, Tao moved to the U.S. with her late husband in 1993. She speaks Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese fluently. Tao is intimately familiar with the needs of Asian buyers and sellers who have a keen interest in the Queens market in particular. She also has a familiarity with areas of Long Island.
Tao has lived in Bayside in a condo apartment she owns for the past eight years. She additionally owns an investment property in New Jersey. Tao loves her community for the great schools, shopping, restaurants, and proximity to NYC transportation it offers.
