Tara Curry

Tara grew up in the Tampa Bay area and attended the University of South Florida, where she received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education. For the next twelve years, Tara taught at some of the area's best schools, including Shorecrest Preparatory School (in St. Petersburg) and St. John's Episcopal Day School (in Tampa's Hyde Park). When Tara and her husband had their first child, she decided to step away from teaching so that she could focus on her family.

Having great success as a lead teacher equipped Tara with many of the skills needed to be a successful real estate agent. A true "people person" she enjoys working with others and making new friends. Tara’s attention to detail and eye for design allows her to maximize a listing’s potential while helping potential buyers imagine a home’s possibilities.

She is active in the community, having been elected President of the Beach Park Women’s Club (2020-2022) after previously serving as its Vice President (2018-2020). Tara also found great joy as a Children's Leader in Community Bible Study. Through these endeavors, she has met many wonderful people and made lasting friendships in the South Tampa area.

Tara loves living in Beach Park and enjoys boating and fishing with her husband (Lance), their two children (Whit & Wynn), and their dogs (Bodhi & Sailor).
