There she was named "Rookie of the Year" and received awards for Outstanding Customer Service. During her tenure she developed a thorough understanding of the construction process and an expertise in the issues involved in building a new home versus purchasing an existing home. Her previous careers in marketing and information technology have given Tara the skills to market properties effectively in the information age. Although she was born and raised in Nebraska, Tara has called Richmond "home" for the past 20 years. Before settling here, she relocated to Seattle and New Jersey. Moving three times in a short period gave her a unique perspective on the challenges of relocation.
