Tara Furnari

Tara Furnari was born in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, into a family that owns a successful real estate development firm. At an early age, she was introduced to the business world and learned the importance of hard work, organization, and discipline as fundamental drivers of success. A Chicago resident since 2001, Tara currently resides in River North.

Tara is dedicated to providing her clients with close, personal attention, and is tenacious about follow-up. Tara is adept at contract and documentation preparation, and she is happy to advise first-time home buyer clients on general escrow and title procedures. She also designs and updates marketing materials specific to each client’s needs. Tara is armed with solid communication and interpersonal skills which allow her to establish and maintain a good rapport with clients and staff.

Tara is the Relocation Director for Weichert, Realtors First Chicago. She works with parent company Weichert Relocation Resources, Inc. (WRRI), to help corporate clients optimize their mobile workforce by delivering innovative solutions that make it faster, easier, and more cost effective to deploy key talent and transfer critical skills anywhere in the world. Their expertise in relocation and assignment management ensures that their clients’ mobility programs advance their business and workforce strategies. WRRI services large corporate clients such as BP America Inc., Wrigley, Morton Salt, Nestle, US Foods, and Glaxo Smithkline, among others.

Tara is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) as well as a licensed Illinois real estate agent, a member of the National Association of Realtors, Chicago Association of Realtors, and the Northern Illinois Multiple Listing Service. Tara received a Sales Award from The Chicago Association of REALTORS® which honors top producers of 2008 and 2009 in residential real estate. She has earned the highest recognition from WEICHERT, REALTORS® First Chicago as the top selling agent of 2008-2011. She is also the third highest producing agent in the Chicagoland area among Weichert affiliates. She is a member of the River North Association and the Women Council of Realtors.
