Tara was extremely helpful in finding a variety of houses for us to look at before she helped us find the one. She was flexible and willing to show houses when it was convenient for us. after we had a contract she was attentive to all aspects of the sale and helped coordinate everything for us. If you are looking for a real estate pro to assist you, look no more. Tara is the person to contact. Tara was extremely patient, knowledgeable and attentive during my search and eventual purchase of a home. I actually changed the location of my search a month into working with her, and she was not fazed one bit. She aggressively started researching homes in the new area for me. I did not know Tara before I asked her to be help me find a home. I knew I selected the right person when we looked at the first home together. She told me not to talk myself into buying a home and it would feel right when I saw the right one. It may sound simple, but it is really good advice. I have heard horror stories from other people who talk about agents who are only out to get their commission as fast as possible. I never once got that feeling with Tara. I always felt like she was on my side every step of the way. What I wanted and needed was important to her. What more can you ask for?! Tara knows the area and how the real estate business works. Tara Riggs helped me buy my house and I am very lucky that she was the real estate agent that helped me throughout this process. If you're looking to buy a home I strongly suggest calling Tara. There are few things that stood out about her professionalism. First, was her honesty. I never really felt that she was just trying to sell me. She made sure to point out things that I was unaware of and made sure to tell me up front about any concerns that she had heard of with properties that I asked about. Also, her service was excellent. As a first time home buyer I had many questions and she always replied quickly and thoroughly. There were minor bumps along the road and she handled these situations perfectly. I live over 2,000 miles away from my house that I was selling. Tara absolutely knocked the home selling experience out of the park. Things can get exceptionally difficult being that far away, but not with Tara. No home selling/purchasing experience comes without some hardships but she did an outstaning job making everything go smoothly. If you somehow end up with a different realtor, good luck. Tara is a very patient, easy going, and knowledgeable realtor. My girlfriend and I spent what seemed like forever looking for the perfect house to call our home and she helped us and reassured us every step of the way. It was amazing. Our house sold within a month. I believe if it wasn't for Tara being on top of everyhing we would still be on the market. I tried to sale myself and thought I was ready until Tara came over. She told us how to set up everyhing. What to get rid of and what needed fixed. It was a hard two weeks especially when you thought you were ready but well worth it. She made our house look better than I could have imagined. What could have easily been a nightmare of relocating from Wisconsin to Illinois in a short window of time, while my husband and I were living in two separate states and half way across the country from one another, was made so much easier having Tara on our side! After doing some extensive searching through agents in the area on Zillow, we settled on Tara because of her experience with first-time home buyers and relocation and were not disappointed! She was able to work with our hectic timeline, crazy situation, and (admittedly extensive) wish list with ease and was able to find us the home of our dreams and keep us within budget! In addition, she was able to offer great advice on local lenders when it came time to get our mortgage and utilized online document signing for the initial offer process which allowed my husband and I to be hundreds of miles away, and still able to make an offer quickly. Above all, and definitely something that should not go unmentioned, Tara was able to help us navigate our new surroundings and offered up great locations to eat, shop, and visit - something which was invaluable to people like us, who had only visited the area we were about to call home 3, or 4 times while on the house hunt.
