About Taran

Taran New joined the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Property Group in 2021. She brings 15 plus years of business experience to the South Tampa office with knowledge of consumer purchasing, cost negotiations and promotional brand marketing. She graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Sciences. She is a licensed real estate agent in the state of Florida. She’s passionate about building relationships and providing exceptional customer service to help her clients not only find a house but a place to call home. Taran has strong communication and negotiation skills and strives to sell homes at the highest price in the shortest amount of time, while facilitating a seamless transaction.

Taran joined Gilit Group shortly after hanging her license with Berkshire Hathaway. She felt that joining a team of business leaders in the community, who are like-minded, would not only help her help clients with resources, but provide the mentorship and support to be able to add value to each and every one of her client’s needs, to achieve their goals.

Taran is an active member in her community and participates in PTA fundraisers at her sons’ local elementary school. Each year she participates in a global outreach program like Operation Christmas Child and the Samaritan’s Purse, where they send shoeboxes full of gifts overseas. Community involvement in Berkshire Hathaway’s sponsored programs is one of the many reasons she decided to bring her talents and hang her license at Berkshire Hathaway.
She lives with her husband and their three sons and enjoys watching their soccer games, paddle boarding, visiting Disney, traveling, boating and spending time on the beach with her family.

Taran brings more than her real estate experience to the table, she brings her love and passion for helping her clients find their forever home, while rolling out the red carpet to provide a home buying experience that is above and beyond.
