Tasha grew up in Berkeley, frequenting Marin and San Francisco, and lived in Mallorca, Spain, and the US Virgin Islands. Her appreciation of architecture and design goes back to her childhood when she often visited buildings designed by Bernard Maybeck, Julia Morgan, Arthur Brown Jr, and their contemporaries. Her philosophy is inspired by their philosophy: a desire to bring people together to build sustainable communities and live closer to nature.

In her spare time, she enjoys studying local history, hiking, writing film scripts, and spending time with her partner, Brad, as well as her two daughters, Arianna and Alessia.
