Tathel Miller

Before becoming a licensed Real Estate broker, I spent fourteen years in the banking industry serving in my rural county working as a market manager, branch manager, commercial, mortgage, and consumer loan officer. While working in this industry I enjoyed working with small businesses, loggers, families, farmers, and truly those who were and still are the backbone of the rural landscape of America. My Daddy was an avid hunter and loved the land and he, along with my mother and grandmother taught me the value of hard work. My grandmother was a chicken and cattle farmer and many of my days as a child was spent helping her on the farm. I enjoy walking land with families and it never ceases to amaze me the wonder from the children by being in nature while their parents dream of their home or homestead being built on a particular piece of ground. The same goes for a family or individual searching and dreaming of a new home--maybe their first home. Being a real estate agent to me is much more than sharing numbers, flashing signs of under-contract or a sold sign. It's building relationships and being of service to others--listening to their stories and then humbly being a part of their story. This is a great honor I don't take for granted and I thank God I can be a small part of the blessing of making a difference in someone's life.
