Found Terry via the web. Relocating from South Florida up to Deland. Appeared as if she was the go to realtor in the area and in the end that certainly held true. Responded very quickly via email (preferable for tech savvy individuals). We were able to email back and forth a bit and with her through knowledge of the ares it made it very easy for us to lock into a target market. She showed us many properties and in a couple of visits to Deland we were able to find the right one. we closed on 3/16/12 and could not be happier with the entire process. A truly great lady. I only wish she was our realtor in South Florida too! Thanks Terry!!

We interviewed several agents before listing our home for sale by Terry Bailey. She and an Associate came out in the rain to see our home and give her suggestions on what to do to enhance the property as well as pricing. She explained how she would be advertising our home through internet listings, agent caravan, and yard sign. Terry Bailey was available by phone and email to answer any questions or take care of any concerns that we had during the process. Having a buyer in mind, she sold our home within a week of the listing agreement although we accepted the offer for $4000 less than asking price. The buyer change financing which presented a few issues but Terry kept things moving along smoothly. We would use her agian if we had property to sell in the Deland/West Volusia area.

I have purchased another home from Terry Bailey and in fact, this is the 3rd home since my original post. terry is fantastic and I would not dream of doing business with another realtor. Terry has also been engaged ad the property manager for each of the homes as I know they will be in great hands. The original post from 2010 is below and all those comments still stand today. We told Terry we needed to see a property in an hour... before ever having met her. She rearranged her schedule her schedule and met us at her listing in downtown Deland, fl. We loved the little cottage and made an offer and asked to close in a week. No problem. Later that morning (at my request) she had the paperwork ready to sign in her office and we closed in 6 days. She and her assistant were most accommodating. We used their office as our own for an hour on morning during the hectic transition. terry is a doer ...not a blowhard showoff, as I have witnessed in a number of men realtors we met in the are. WE sold two homes in Deltona in 2011/2012 and used Terry Bailey as our agent on both transactions. She really showed knowledge of the area and always had the rightanswers for us. Last year my elderly mother moved into a assisted living facility, which in turn lead to a need to sell her house. Terry was referred to us by a family friend and after meeting with her we agreed to sign on with Terry to handle the listing process. At this point it was clear that this was going to be a very tedious and difficult process to manage since my mom was in DeLand and my family was in Atlanta. The house was in absolutely awful shape not to mention 60 years of accumulated stuff shoved in every space. I really did not know how I was going to manage the clean up and needed repairs etc. This is where Terry set herself apart. She offered to contact services and obtain quotes for the variety of work - cleaning, painting, carpeting and hauling off a lots of furniture and trash. She kept me informed along the way and got my approval before scheduling any work and essentially managed and coordinated the whole process. I do not think many other realtors would have done that. It took quite awhile to get all of this done but we are optimistic that we will sell the house this spring. Terry's assistant in this effort was invluable to me personally. I do not know how I would have managed this without her assistance. I give Terry my highest recommendation for her above and beyond willingness to help.

Terry is one of the best realtors we have ever dealt with, she helped us find our home in FL and then helped us sell a home in FL. She with her assistant Brittney were very compassionate when we were frustrated about the whole move thing. She put our house out there and did everything promised with advertising, did internet, open houses, magazines, great pictures to show our property beautifully and so much more. She gave us a beautiful gift after closing.
