Teresa Cox began a career in real estate sales in 1993 and quickly built a successful business, focusing on serving the needs of her clients in a way that encouraged referrals for future business. Extraordinary customer service, communication, and professionalism are the cornerstones of her approach to business, and she eventually was drawn to lead other agents to do the same. She stepped into the leadership realm of the business, becoming a Broker In Charge of a growing company in Greenville. Her position enabled her to further develop her passion for business through serving others needs, leading agents to grow their individual businesses, and thereby growing the company in agent count and production. She has served in leadership roles as follows: Broker In Charge(BIC)/Owner of Realty Systems, LLC, BIC/Manager RE/MAX Advantage Team, Franchise Sales for RE/MAX Carolinas Region, BIC/Manager at Prudential C. Dan Joyner Company-Pleasantburg location, and Director of Career Development for Berkshire Hathway Homeservices - C. Dan Joyner Company. This career path has lead her to her current position as CEO/Team Leader/Broker at KELLER WILLIAMS Greenville Upstate. Teresa says that the leadership title, CGO-Chief Growth Officer better describes her role. Her business and personal life has been a series of growth opportunities, and now her primary focus is to help others grow their lives as well.
Teresa has also served as board member for Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS, Chairman of the Multiple Listings Committee, Chairman of the Forms Committee at SCR, and currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau of the Upstate.
Married to Phil Cox; three children, Emily, Phillip and Whitney, and six grandchildren. Member at First Presbyterian Church, downtown Greenville.
