Terri Barnett

Terri Ann Barnett is the Co-owner and top realtor with RE/MAX Main Street. She accredits her success to the care and love she pours into every client relationship. Both buyers and sellers extoll her warmth and knowledge while keeping the client's priorities as her guide to successful relationships and hefty sales. She began her career in real-estate in 2000 as part of Barnett Realty. In January, 2012, due to her successful sales record, the company was invited to join RE/MAX. Terri’s responsibilities include revenue growth and operations along with nurturing the agency’s client base (buyers and sellers) in Central Ohio. Terri is ranked in the top tier of all RE/MAX realtors in Ohio. Prior to joining RE/MAX in 2012, Terri was Director of Marketing for the renowned international retail consulting firm, Management Horizons, Division of Price Waterhouse from 1981 – 1991. As such, she was responsible for Strategic Market Planning for the firm, Trade development in both the retail and manufacturing arenas, Advertising and Sales. Her personal client base consisted of forward-thinking companies such as; The Limited, Saks Fifth Ave., Federated Dept. Stores, Proctor & Gamble, McCormick Spice, AT&T, and Jacob Suchard Company, to name a few. Terri worked in the Hard Goods consumer goods industry as a marketing innovator for Columbus based Plaskolite from 1978-1981. Noted for her creativity and originality in supporting the Marketing efforts of this consumer goods manufacturer of extruded plastics. she organized and managed all trade show representation at industry shows. Directly after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University, Terri accepted a position with Grumme A B, in Goteborg, Sweden. She worked on the planning and implementation of a variety of marketing and advertising campaigns for this consumer goods manufacturer. Terri graduated from The Ohio State University in 1978 where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and then went on to earn her MBA in Marketing from The Ohio State University in 1984. Active in the community, Terri is a member of the board of trustees for Columbus Torah Academy, Congregation Torat Emet and is a volunteer for the Bikur Cholim Society, Annually, she works as a key member of the Columbus Community Kollel’s capital campaign and Co-Chair of Torat Emet’s capital campaign. She is on the board of and past Chair of the Columbus Torah Academy’s annual scholarship dinner. She is 1st VP of the board of Congregation Torat Emet, aka The Main St. Shul. In 2012, Terri was recognized as a recipient of the Million Dollar, 5 Million, 25 Million and President's Award and most recently the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Columbus Realtor Assn. Terri lives in Bexley with her husband of 44 years. They have 3 married daughters and 9 grandchildren.
