Finally, a Real Estate Team that is truly focused on their clients best interest. I made the tough decision to sell my home in this down market. I interviewed at least 10 agents, reviewed the comps and their suggested selling prices. I felt that they all undervalued my property. They left me feeling like they just wanted to lock me in, at a reduced price, for a quick commission. It didn't help that the most polished agents tried to sell me on paying an extra 1 or 2 percent to sell my house more quickly. I was considering the 'Sell by Owner' option because I knew I could get more for my home. Then I received a call from Terrie and Justin at Follow Me Realty Associates and as reluctant as I was to interview another agent, I agreed to meet with them. I am so thankful that I took the time to listen to their proposal. Terrie Cummings is a polished professional with years of experience but most important for me was that she had all the necessary facts, presented in a concise manner and reinsured me that I was in control of the sell. There wasn't the feeling of 'sign the papers and we'll be in touch' that I had experienced. Just a few minutes talking to them assures you that they have the knowledge, experience, resources and will do everything in their power to accomplish your goal and make the process manageable. Justin Jarrell, a Veteran that served our country with honor, is a disciplined man with a refreshing honesty about him. He strives to help guide you through the process by keeping you informed and search for answers to the unanticipated twists that are involved. Terrie Cummings and Justin Jarrell are a dynamic professional team. They gave me helpful tips for curb appeal and suggested changes inside the house. They were engaging, personable, and very dedicated to me and my needs. They talked me through the contract and added certain things I wanted in the FMLS and other listings. I have a police dog that required extra work on their part to coordinate appointments for viewing. They screened prospective buyers to make sure they knew the features of my house and could afford the house. Terrie comes with 17 years experience as a Realtor and 10 years as a Broker. She is wise, knows the market, is detailed oriented, and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of buying and selling including the laws. Justin and Terrie were very helpful in negotiations and dealing with difficult prospective buyers. They were always available to me. I admire Justin for his 12 years of service to our country including 2 combat tours in Iraq and 2 combat tours in Afghanistan. I also admire him for his passion to help fellow soldiers with PTSD. One thing you hear as a first time home buyer is how scary the process can be. From all the paperwork, to all the information that’s need, to getting everything financially in place, to all the things that can happen in between putting an offer on the house of your dreams and the closing date. There are two things that Terrie and Justin go above and beyond with in regards to their practice: making sure you find the house of your dreams, and alleviating all concerns from putting in the offer through signing the paperwork for closing. The years of experience in the industry was obvious from the get go. Terrie and Justin were very knowledgeable about the area, including the surrounding schools and amenities in the communities which were very important to us. Before we even started the process of looking at houses, Terrie made sure she was fully aware of exactly what we were looking for in a house and the surrounding area, and informed us of everything we needed to know about the home buying process. They made it a point to be extremely honest about the houses that we viewed, which showed that they were there to help us find our dream home and not just there to get commission on a sale. If the houses we viewed had any defects or unappealing features that were not in line with what we wanted, they were very quick to tell us their opinion and share their knowledge. Once we did find our dream home, we received the shocking news that someone else had put in an offer for it that same night. Terrie was immediately on the phone to negotiate with the seller and guide us toward a winning offer on the home! From there, Terrie and Justin guided us through all the bumps and bruises that do come with buying a home. It is far from a worry-free and easy process, but the quick response to any questions you may have along with just checking in on us to see how we’re was above and beyond anything we could have asked for. There was never a time where they couldn’t be reached and we were never left in the dark about any conversations between they were having with the lender or the seller.
