Thom Garvey

Thom first discovered the Berkshires in the 80's while working in the theater. On his days off Thom explored the vast network of hiking trails and visited many historic homes. The Berkshires had a real impact on Thom, and he always thought it would be an amazing place to live one day. In the summer of 2012 Thom and his wife stayed in Lenox for a long weekend. Inspired by their visit they decided to look at homes. Within two weeks they had purchased a home and moved up full time a few months later. Moving to the Berkshires from Brooklyn was one of the best decisions they ever made. The natural beauty, recreational opportunities, extensive arts scene, and wonderful restaurants make for a very special and enjoyable lifestyle.

As a real estate agent Thom takes great pleasure in working with home buyers new to the Berkshires (as well as those familiar with the area) and showing them everything the Berkshires has to offer while being a kind of ambassador for the Berkshires. With home owners he takes great pride in representing their properties; guiding them through the entire sales process from the initial listing appointment and valuation, to readying their homes for photography and showings, to marketing, fielding offers and negotiating the best offer possible. Thom's goal is to represent sellers and buyers with integrity and enthusiasm while creating the most seamless and stress free experience possible.
