Thomas Nevers

Tom Nevers is a passionate, trustworthy, goal-driven, and team-oriented professional. He has upheld this stellar reputation in his 13 years playing professional baseball, and his 20+ years selling real estate.

Born and raised in Edina, Minnesota where he still resides, Tom committed to the University of Minnesota to play men’s hockey and baseball back in the day. He enjoyed success in both sports, and ended up signing a MLB contract with the Houston Astros. Having also played for the Brewers, Twins, Cardinals, Angels and Reds, he enjoyed six-month stints living around the country in various places as well as in Vancouver, B.C.

Upon retiring from the sports scene, Tom started two successful businesses – in real estate, and running a baseball training facility in Edina, MN called Nevers Larkin Baseball LLC. As a licensed realtor since 2002, he started at a small firm then advanced to bigger names and has happily made Compass his last stop. Through his sports background, Tom was a perfect fit for Compass’ Sports and Entertainment Division, bringing a strong track record of working with numerous NHL and MLB players and managers. He specializes in residential real estate sales, primarily in Edina and the Southwest Metro area.

Tom has experience dealing with people from all walks of life and showing properties in all price ranges. He really enjoys working with clients on one common goal. Married to his wife Stacy of 22+ years, Tom also keeps busy with their three teen to college-age sons. The family lives in Edina with their adorable English Cream White Golden, Rudy.
