Tim Collins loves helping clients find their perfect, whether it is their coastal dream home, a profitable investment, or a little slice of beach paradise. With a background spanning finance, sales, and sports coaching, Tim has long demonstrated his inborn leadership, and second-to-none work ethic — no matter what he has decided to tackle.
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Tim has a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor and is a two-time All-American Scholar-Athlete. Post-college, he launched a successful sales management career that lasted more than 24 years. After moving to the Emerald Coast in 2013, Tim began his real estate career by growing long- and short-term portfolios for a property management company. Having always wanted to launch an agency, he earned his real estate license soon thereafter.
In 2020, Tim founded Coastal Premier Properties, which achieved more than $30 million in sales volume in its first year alone. Moved in every endeavor by stout values of honesty, integrity, and trust, Tim is enthusiastic about helping people succeed on both sides of the aisle. Representing both clients and agents, Tim maximizes buyers’ and investors’ returns and assists colleagues in growing their business and mastering the art of closing a deal.
Before making Florida his home, Tim lived parts of his adult life in Dallas and Atlanta. He and his beautiful wife, Lydia, have been Walton County property owners since 2004 and now reside in Miramar Beach. They love spending time at the beach, whether with their two Labrador retrievers, Cooper, and Murphy, or enjoying the sunset, a glass of wine, and a fine meal at a local eatery. Tim appreciates traveling, architectural and interior designing, and making charitable contributions: He has supported the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, local animal rescues, and organizations that combat ALS. Sports still play a significant role in Tim’s life — he will always be a fanatic for basketball and baseball!
