Tim Luten

Tim R. Luten has over forty-six years of experience in investment real estate. A native of Albuquerque, Tim has a strong knowledge of Albuquerque and its apartment market. Tim provides his clients with the utmost in quality service and sincere representation. He professionally assists his clients in the successful analysis, purchase and disposition of investment properties. Tim’s knowledge of the market is unsurpassed and he succeeds in keeping current with the most up-to-date marketing and investment strategies.

Tim excels in the development of financial strategies, asset acquisition, management, and asset disposition. He assists his clients through his experience in underwriting, and experience with Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code tax-deferred exchanges. Tim was one of the founders of T&C Management Company, and Senior Vice President of Grubb & Ellis | New Mexico. Under T&C Management, Tim’s partner Chuck Sheldon competed for and was awarded the Neighborhood Stabilization Program Grant within Albuquerque, New Mexico a $1.9 million low-income housing Grant that was increased to $4.8 million to acquire and rehabilitate condemned foreclosed units within the city. T&C Management also manages over 1,300 units and has acted as court appointed receiver for apartment buildings in New Mexico for Imperial National Bank. Since joining SVN/WACB Tim has been very active in the listing and sales of investment properties including Multifamily and Industrial acquisitions.
