About Tim
Helping others build wealth and evolve with their spaces over time along with a love for well-designed spaces are what drew Tim McLoughlin to the real estate industry. This passion, along with his ability to bring vision, empathy and real-world knowledge to every transaction are what allow Tim to provide the sort of guidance that clients rely on from a real estate professional. His experience coupled with his trusted network of supporting resources – attorneys, lenders, inspectors, etc. – help his clients achieve their goals through a seamless process.
Coming from a 17-year career as a management consultant into real estate was a natural transition for Tim. While working for companies like Accenture, Slalom and West Monroe Partners, Tim developed a proficiency for client service and sharpened his organizational and problem-solving skills. Tim's mission is to serve his clients as a trustworthy, informed advisor who educates and empowers them on their real estate journeys. His clientele ranges from first-time home buyers and sellers, to seasoned investors and he tailors every experience to each client's unique situation.
Tim received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has called the city of Chicago home for more than 20 years. He currently lives in Bucktown and primarily serves the Northside of Chicago but supports clients throughout the entire city, surrounding Chicagoland, and beyond. In the limited time that he's not serving clients, you can usually find Tim enjoying the city as an avid concert-goer, sports fan, restaurant connoisseur and investor, or running—he's completed seven Chicago Marathons. He is an avid philanthropist and supports several organizations including Mercy Home, Children International, The Nature Conservancy and has served on the board of the Herban Foundation.
Buying or selling your home can be a stressful and emotional process and Tim aims to be the source of objectivity and calm for his clients. Seeing his clients through a successful transaction and transition to a new chapter of their lives is one of the most rewarding aspects of his job and he wants to help you do the same.
