Timothy Phelps

Maryland, DC, and Virginia REALTOR® /Associate Broker Timothy Phelps sees his role as a guide, counselor, and teacher.

His goal is to provide the highest level of service to his clients while ensuring they reach their Real Estate vision—whether it be buying or selling. Tim stands by his patrons from beginning to end with his clients' best interests at heart. From their initial meeting to closing, Tim believes in being a part of every step of the process as he brings Real Estate dreams to life.

Tim is a resolute analytical person who enjoys looking at a problem from all angles and examining all the "what ifs" and "whys" before choosing a course of action. He is never afraid to go outside of the box to find a solution that is beyond "how it's always been done."

With previous project management and estimating experience, Tim is no stranger to gauging price points, negotiations, relationship development, and meeting client expectations. These experiences help Tim successfully deal with the challenges of buying or selling real estate.

Additionally, Tim's successful eight-year career in Real Estate has proven how resolute and influential he is at managing relationships on behalf of his clients. He serves as a middle point and manages all tasks with third parties and vendors to limit additional encounters and challenges for his buyers and sellers. Tim strives to deliver dream homes and selling prices with minimum stress to every past and future client.

As a 38-year Washingtonian native, Tim understands his community. He understands the values and standards of those who decide to build their lives and families in the DC metro area.

Tim is a member of the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of Realtors. He currently serves as a member of the GCAAR Grievance Committee. He served as a board member for the Keller Williams Capital Properties Agent Leadership Council and supported over four hundred agents in the DC offices as the Supervising Broker. Tim holds a designation as a Certified Negotiation Expert, which helps him approach each transaction with a collaborative mindset.

When not assisting clients, Tim also organizes training courses for Real Estate agents of all experience levels and is highly involved in mentoring new and aspiring agents. Additionally, you can find Tim hiking, snowboarding, golfing, playing soccer, or track riding his motorcycle. Tim is blessed with a beautiful family; his wife Christina, and their two exceptional children, Katya, and Luka.
