Now in his 20th ‘season’ as a local real estate professional and having recently been named a "Super Agent" by Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine for a 10th time, there is no doubting Tim is an accomplished, experienced agent. Since joining the Keller Williams Realty Integrity Lakes office in 2011 he has been named Sales Agent of the Year twice and received the coveted Cultural Icon award in 2020 for his contributions to the growth of others in the brokerage. Tim is well-versed in sourcing off-market properties and coming out on the winning end of competitive-bid situations for his buyers. On the listing side, since 2013 he has sold listings more than 4-times faster than the market average, and for an average of 2.1% higher than the market average (measured by sale-price-to-list-price ratio). An old copywriter friend from Tim’s days in the advertising industry once said that as a real estate agent, Tim is “a lot like no one else,” and that has been his tagline ever since. Tim is a marketing expert who is customer-service driven, down-to-earth and transparent. He embraces a consultative approach and is partner to his buyers and sellers. That approach has served him well–typically 80%-90% of his clients every year are past clients or referrals.
Tim grew up in Minnetonka, lived in the Highland Park/Mac Groveland areas of St. Paul while attending The University of St. Thomas, and lived in the Linden Hills neighborhood in Southwest Minneapolis in the 1990s. He's resided in Edina since 1998. As a long-time Twin Cities resident with exposure to, and passion for, a diverse array of area neighborhoods, Tim is uniquely positioned to help people in several areas of town and is especially well-positioned to help those looking to migrate to and from the city and western suburbs. Before launching his successful real estate business in 2002, Tim was an accomplished marketer, representing national, blue-chip brands primarily while working with the iconic creative advertising agency Fallon McElligott while it thrust itself into the best-agency-in-North America conversation. It was in his formative years at Fallon that Tim developed a passion for superior service and exceeding client expectations through innovation and creativity. Tim has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business, making him one of the few real estate agents in town with an MBA. With hockey playing and coaching days now behind him, Tim now focuses his spare time on reading and being outdoors--skiing, cycling, running, hiking, and especially getting his backside kicked by his two sons on the golf course. Fun fact: Tim loves to shovel snow!
