About Tom

My wife and I have lived in Central Oregon for 42 years. We raised our family here and wouldn’t trade it. My commercial career began with family farming with my parents after college. Both livestock and crops made up our enterprise mix. After my dad retired I accepted a position in Bend as a lumber broker. For the next 23 years I bought and sold west coast lumber to buyers all over the country. I enjoyed interpreting the customer’s needs and to find the right product. Every sale is a new deal and meeting customer’s expectations is key. Communication was paramount in the lumber business, No detail left without attention.

The wood products industry continues to contract. There are fewer sawmills, customers join large buying groups. Close assessment told me to deliver my skill set to another genre, and that’s real estate.

I've now had three rewarding years at RE/MAX Out West Realty in Prineville. I'm always available and look forward to your real estate business.
