Tom Kerrey

Tom has over 35 years of sales experience in various fields throughout his career. He is a former USAF Captain - NATO Intelligence Officer, stationed in Vicenza Italy for 3 years. He provided all source Top Secret SCI briefings to General Officers and their staff weekly, throughout Northern Italy. In addition, he was the Squadron Intelligence & Mission Planning Officer for an F-16 Fighter Squadron - The 308th "Emerald Knights", with a history back to WWII. He commanded the 31st Tactical Fighter Wing, Intelligence Division, Homestead AFB before his deployment to Italy.

Tom has spent 15 years in the Corporate World as a Regional Sales Executive for LexisNexis, an online database of information utilized by lawyers and law firms globally. Tom managed a 9-state territory across the Southeastern US and has had numerous contract negotiations with law firm managing partners and CEOs for law firms over 100 attorneys plus in size.

Tom also has 10 years of medical sales experience as an OR medical device rep. He sold biologic mesh to general and trauma surgeons and has attended many hands-on surgeries, over 200 plus, including assisting in delivering 7 babies during C-sections. Tom is a former Certified Surgical Technologist and was an honors graduate in his surgical training program, as well as being the class President. In addition, he sold tooth implants to oral surgeons while working for Zimmer Biomet Dental, and was ranked #1 in the Nation out of 188 reps within 6 months of being hired.

Tom is a dedicated father of two girls and loves our WNC Mountains. He is a Florida native, has traveled the world, protected our country while in the USAF, and has now chosen Western NC for the rest of his career. His hobbies include golf, exploring waterfalls, shooting sports, and weekend getaways to explore our great Smoky Mountains.
