Tom Mooney’s warm personality traits reflect the success he has achieved in real estate. Through this, Tom and his business partner Sean O’Conor maintain only the best-quality environment for the agents at O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald, making the agency one of the greatest places to work in Maryland.
A force in the industry, O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald isn’t stopping any time soon. With a hands-on approach and the ability to envision the future of real estate, eventual plans could include further expansion, the acquiring of more companies, as well as additional office locations.
Experience
A licensed realtor since 1983, Tom paid his dues at a few local real estate agencies as he climbed the ranks in leadership roles. In 2004, he took the helm of O’Connor, Mooney & Fitzgerald. Tom has served on the Board of several organizations, including the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors and the Central Maryland YMCA. He has also held the role as Chair of the Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors Charitable Foundation, Towson YMCA, and Mission Helpers of Sacred Heart.
Tom holds his community in the highest regard and it’s evident through his dedication to meaningful causes. Each December, Tom dresses as Santa Claus at children’s and charitable events around Baltimore. He is an Auctioneer at Baltimore school events, and you’ll also find him motivating crowds as Master of Ceremonies at Loyola Blakefield’s “Billy Korrow Memorial 5K Run” and Swim Across America, a fundraiser for the Fight Against Cancer initiative.
Education and Family
Tom is a graduate of Loyola High School and received a Bachelor of Science from Towson University. When he’s not the boss, Tom moonlights as licensed minister marrying couples or competing in an occasional triathlon. He resides in Maryland with his wife, Kingsley. The two have three children, Tommy, Garland, and Kingsley.
