Tom has had the privilege of growing up in beautiful Coeur d’Alene/Hayden Lake Idaho enjoying the exceptional outdoor recreational activities the Pacific Northwest offers. Tom earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho in Forest Products Management in 2003. After graduating from college Tom spent 14 years working in the private sector of the Timber Industry working for Timber Investment Management Organizations, private industrial timberland owners, and co-founded a successful forestry consulting company. Over his career he has gained experience and expertise in many facets of vacant land and Timberland Investments.
In 2013, managed over 48,000 acres of privately owned timberland while also acquiring his real estate license in Idaho and Montana. Tom’s creativity and entrepreneurial spirit makes him a very effective real estate professional/forester, that can find simple solutions to complex problems. He is a proactive and results driven professional who has a true passion for helping clients achieve their personal and investment real estate goals.
In 2017 Tom opened the independently owned Northwest Land & Lifestyle Properties brokerage in beautiful Hayden, Idaho. Tom’s vast experience and knowledge of real estate in the Northwest makes him truly a “one-stop shop” for any type of real estate or land use transaction. Tom has an unprecedented marketing platform and has successfully managed over $180 million dollars in real estate transactions. As of 2024 Northwest Land & Lifestyle Properties has sold over 10,000 acres in Northern Idaho & Western Montana. Tom has built an exceptional team of customer service oriented real estate professionals. Tom’s team is experienced in every type of real estate, with a strong emphasis on rural land & homes, recreational properties, development property, and timberland investments.
Tom is a member of the national, state and local real estate associations and has received extensive education in the areas of negotiation, marketing, finance/valuation, real estate law, and 1031/1033 exchanges. Tom takes full advantage of the northwest lifestyle whenever possible, and enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, camping, kayaking, and recreating throughout the Northwest with his wife & two kids.
