Tom Rico

Tom was born and raised in San Diego County making him extremely knowledgeable about communities within the San Diego area. He studied and lived at San Diego State University from 1978 to 1983 and bought his first home in Escondido at the age of 24. Tom's wealth of knowledge has helped him close over $200 million in sales in over 400 transactions from 1997 to October 2013, earning the Chairman's Circle Award in 1998 thru 2004, an honor reserved for the top 2% of Prudential Agents nationwide. He has received the President's Circle Award from 2005 to 2012, an award reserved for the top 4% of Prudential Agents nationwide. The Blue Brothers are also Legends Award recipients. At the time, this was the pinnacle award reserved for the top real estate producers within the company. The Legend award is given to those select real estate agents who received the Chairman´s Circle award five years in a row.

Tom started his relationship with Prudential California Realty when he began his real estate career because he wanted to work for the #1 real estate company in San Diego County. His original mentor, Jim, and Nancy McNabb, have told him, "The Blue Brothers are our biggest success story ever!!" As marketing specialists, Tom has helped buyers find homes in all the North County Inland areas as well as Central and South San Diego, La Jolla, Ramona, Fallbrook, and as far as Temecula in Riverside County. Tom is also a Certified Relocation Specialist and helps families coming to or moving from San Diego. In September of 2013, Prudential California Realty changed its name to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, California Properties. The Blue Brothers stayed the course with the new company name and are looking forward to many more years of success.
