About Tom

Tom brings over 20 years of sales, marketing and licensing experience in the Rock and Roll merchandise industry to his position as a Broker Associate w/ Coldwell Banker in Orinda. During that time, Tom ran his own business for 15 years as a licensee of one of the world's greatest Rock and Roll bands, the Grateful Dead, also directly worked with rock legend Carlos Santana, distributing merchandise to clients worldwide and becoming known for his attention to detail, integrity, his hands-on approach to all sides of the operation and "second-to-none" customer service.

All this experience has proved invaluable to Tom as he applies the lessons learned in merchandising to the efforts in prospecting, marketing, selling or finding a home for his clients. Each transaction is its very own little business, and Tom excels in managing that process, from staging, marketing, contracting and negotiating all the way through to closing. Tom is a 4th generation San Franciscan, a graduate of San Francisco's St. Ignatius College Preparatory and a 1979 graduate of Santa Clara University with a degree in Business Management. The Stack family is also active in the local community. Residing in Lafayette's Burton Valley, Tom, with his wife Kiki and son Sam, spearheaded an organization that fought for the preservation of an Open Space initiative, keeping over 85 acres of pristine parkland populated by heritage oaks, meadows, two creeks and abundant wildlife from being graded, paved, and developed with redundant services offered in numerous other areas of Lafayette. The efforts of this group were a success.

Tom also proudly served as VP of the Board of Directors at Lafayette's Town Hall Theatre from 2009-2020, producing and presenting over 75 Rock and Roll and Comedy shows for the Lamorinda Community and the greater East Bay.

All this experience has proved invaluable to Tom as he applies the lessons learned in merchandising to the efforts in prospecting, marketing, selling, or finding a home for his clients. Each transaction is its very own little business, and Tom excels in managing that process, from staging, marketing, contracting, and negotiating all the way through to closing.
