THOMAS R. HUNT, CAI, Broker/Auctioneer: Thomas R. Hunt serves as President of The Hunt Real Estate Group. Tommy is a graduate of Western Kentucky University. He owned and operated a residential, commercial and real estate auction company for 25 years having as much as 50% of market share at a given time. Throughout his 30 years of real estate auction experience in handling commercial, industrial, residential properties, he has been a leader in the use of both innovative and proven techniques. He has sold in excess of 40 auctions of personally owned real estate including subdivisions, personal residences and farm properties. He conducted or participated in thousands of auctions not only for insurance companies, banks and estates, but also for the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the City of Bowling Green. Especially noteworthy was an auction for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association with a sales price of 4.6 million dollars. Along with his vast experience in the real estate and auction industry, he is a well-respected real estate developer and investor with a proven track record in many prominent developments. He has personally developed over 20 residential subdivisions. Tommy is a past Director, Vice President and President of the Kentucky Auctioneers Association, a past member of the board of Directors for the National Auctioneers Association and a charter member of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (now Auction Marketing Institute). He is a frequent speaker across the United States for the National Auctioneers Association, a speaker at numerous Realtors state seminars and conventions and is considered a leader in the real estate auction industry.
