Toni Glickman

Through a devastating loss, Toni learned a valuable lesson.

As Toni stepped out of the hospital room, the monitors beeping in the distance, it felt like the entire world fell away beneath her. After losing both of her grandparents, two of the most important people in her world, in just over two weeks, Toni had no idea where to go from there.

Her grandparents were actively involved in her life. Her mother, their daughter, raised Toni on her own with them always close to them. Every summer, every piano recital, every triumph, and every failure, they were there to support them. Her grandfather was a savvy businessperson who continued to build the scrap metal company that his father founded when he first came to this country as a young man from Ukraine. He taught Toni that you have to show up no matter what and what the true meaning of hard work is. Her grandmother was the kindest person Toni knew, and she showed Toni what empathy and compassion look like. They were her compass, her everything, and then they were gone.

Moving forward was not easy, and to be honest Toni was in a fog for the longest time. Toni grew numb because facing what happened was too painful. Even then, Toni kept putting one foot in front of the other. Toni was engaged to be married when they passed away and it was not too long before Toni had a family of her own.

What Toni realized along the way was that life does not have a pause button. Surrendering to fear was and is never an option. When tough times come, Toni always put one foot in front of the other.

Work has always been a lifeline for her whenever experiencing a particularly stressful time. It makes sense to Toni and gives her purpose. In the years since, Toni has added two children to her family, whom Toni named in the Jewish tradition after those two that she lost. Her daughter Gigi, and her son Bruno, are a huge inspiration to Toni and are her whole heart. They are incredible human beings; so kind, and smart, and her true teachers.

In the end, everyone all has struggles, you never know someone is until you ask. That is why Toni make the effort to be kind to everyone. Toni was taught the importance of being nice. You do not necessarily remember what someone does, though you always remember how someone makes you feel.

Toni enjoys horseback riding, playing piano, cinema, books, travel and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite part of being a REALTOR® are her clients and the friendships she makes in the process of finding or selling a home.
