Travis Arnold became a Realtor in January of 2008. He is a 5th generation native of the Ozarks who grew up in the Omaha, AR area. After he graduated from Omaha High School he continued to pursue his love for baseball as a collegiate pitcher for Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kansas. After graduating from PCC, he transferred on baseball scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR where he continued to pitch and carried on his passion for the game. While attending UCA, Travis majored in History and had minors in both Geography and Kinesiology. He graduated from UCA in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. After graduation, he came back to his roots and worked at Community First Bank, which allowed him to make several acquaintances, connections and gave him first-hand knowledge of the banking industry that now serves him well on a daily basis as a Real Estate Agent. When Travis is not working, he is a genuine sports, outdoors and Bar-B-Que fanatic! Year-round you will find him, and his lovely wife Kara, cheering on their beloved Arkansas Razorbacks whether it is for fall football, spring basketball or summer baseball. Travis & Kara will also travel north to Kansas City, MO several times a year to satisfy their newly found love of Soccer where they watch their favorite club Sporting Kansas City play “the beautiful game.” He is also an avid bass fisherman as he loves nothing more than grabbing his kayak or bass boat and hitting one the Ozarks beautiful streams, rivers or lakes and taking in their spectacular beauty while catching some large & smallmouth bass. Finally, the latest hobby he has taken up has been trying to perfect the art of great BBQ. Although it might be his favorite style of food, he enjoys cooking it just as much as he does eating it. Just don’t ask him for any of his secret rub recipes! Travis is also thoroughly involved in his community and serves on several committees and boards. He was an Ambassador in the Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program, he is a board member on the Harrison Arkansas Razorback Club, a board member on the Harrison American Legion Board, a board member of the Harrison District Board of Realtors MLS Committee and he has served on the Harrison District Board of Realtors’ Executive Board and served as President of the HDBR in 2015. While there is over 140 licensed Realtors in the Harrison area, and there may be other Realtors who have been in the industry longer, no one will work harder to help you sell your home or find that perfect property you have been dreaming about!
