I'm Travis Babcock, a Realtor® at Babcock Real Estate and proud Nebraska native. I grew up on a farm in rural Nebraska, where I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and strong community ties—principles that continue to guide me today. After earning my degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and completing physician assistant school at the Nebraska Medical Center, I spent over 16 years in orthopedic medicine—three years in Washington state practicing general orthopedics, followed by 13 years in orthopedic trauma in Fort Collins, Colorado.
While I loved my work in medicine, my family and I always felt a strong pull to return home. As our children have grown, we knew it was the right time to move back to Grand Island and join the family business.
Personally, I've always had a passion for real estate, design, and remodeling, and knew it was something I wanted to pursue at some point. Over the years, through my own experiences buying, selling, and renovating homes, I've developed a deep appreciation for the value a knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough real estate agent brings to the process. Just as I helped patients navigate injuries and recovery in medicine, I now help clients confidently navigate one of life's biggest transitions—moving to or from their home, business, or property.
I enjoy meeting new people, building lifelong relationships, and being part of their stories. My wife, Samantha, and I are raising our daughter Ella and son Graham here in Grand Island, and we're proud to call this community home.
