If you're here, you must be looking for a realtor?! I’d like to share with you about mine, Travis Bancroft! While I’m sure he is always amazing to work with, as a first time homebuyer, I can’t emphasize enough his thoroughness, honesty and patience.

Day 1 -- meeting Travis at an open house, I said: “This is my first time to buy a home. I want to look at as many homes as I need to be comfortable. I don’t want to be rushed, and I need a realtor who knows about first time homebuyer programs.”

Unphased by my intense demeanor, Travis calmly replied, “Buying a home is a big purchase and you should look until you find the right house.”

While my new home literally has every feature I wanted — we looked at more than 30 houses over a few weeks, a couple times a week — until we walked into the one that would eventually become mine. It was clear by our second meeting to tour houses, Travis had heard me — the things I liked, the things I didn’t like, and my wishlist items.

Travis was versed on various first time homebuyer programs, made recommendations, and worked collaboratively with my lender. I work a lot — it can be hard for me to stay on top of everything — Travis kept the process moving with gentle nudges.

I never really thought that buying a home would be something I would ever do. Travis helped make the process exciting, enjoyable and frankly, easy. Whether you’re buying your first house, second, and/or selling a house — Travis is your person! He covers the entire great state of Maryland from the west to the eastern shore — and certainly Baltimore City.
