About Trent

Trent Stephens is a licensed Sales Associate and a valued member of the Wohler Realty Group who brings over 13 years of resort property management & sales experience to the team. Trent has a detailed understanding and comprehensive knowledge of Stratton Mountain and its neighboring communities as well as a deep appreciation for the active Vermont lifestyle. Previously a property manager for numerous resort and residential properties with a keen emphasis on building strong relationships with homeowners, clients, and contractors, his extensive management and sales experience makes him an invaluable professional for successfully buying and selling various types of real estate throughout southern Vermont.

Shortly after relocating to Vermont in 2009, Trent honed his building and land management skills at the Merck Forest and Farmland Center in Rupert. There he managed and led a variety of diverse initiatives, including forestry & agricultural management, building maintenance & preservation, and developing a wide array of recreational activities. This experience provides him with a unique perspective when evaluating and assessing a property’s true potential and equips his clients with the best insight in order to make the most informed decisions.

Trent has a degree in Ecotourism & Adventure Travel and understands and appreciates the southern Vermont lifestyle. He is a certified Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) and Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), as well as a South-Central Vermont Board of Realtor (SCVBR) board member. He also serves as a voting member on the New England Real Estate Network (NEREN) council and is active in multiple volunteer-based organizations & initiatives. He has extensive experience in land acquisition, farming & agricultural management, and fiduciary advising. This, coupled with his strong sense of community, makes him a uniquely qualified and highly skilled real estate professional with networks & relationships that extend far beyond the mountain resort area.

Trent enjoys spending quality time with his family while also remaining active within his community. He recently helped his son create and produce a podcast, Eye on the Shires, which showcases local non-profits, their needs, and inspiring community volunteerism. He also collects and repurposes furniture from throughout the region and then donates it to families,Habitat for Humanity, or wherever a need exists. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys skiing, hiking, and working on his farm. This lifestyle, coupled with his diverse background, has enabled him to develop strong relationships among a variety of stakeholders while creating a passion for helping others find their Vermont dream property – whether that’s a trailside home, a small farm in the Shires, or anything in between.
